Ghanaian music is now full of repetitions, no creativity – Kaakyire Kwame Appiah


Musician, philanthropist and old gem, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has revealed how he sees the current musicians in Ghana. Indirectly, he seems to be calling them lazy artistes as compared to the old peeps like G. Ambulley, Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, Reggie Rockstone, Obrafour, Lord Kenya and others who wrote personal and genuine lyrical contents for their tracks.

Reacting to the supposed “repetition” saga in Ghana music, the Kwadonto crooner had this to say;

“When listening to songs produced today, you would see that it is the same or one word that is used repeatedly, however, when you listen to the lyrics in my song “Kwadonto”, you would rather be inspired”.
