Former Captain and General Captain of the Ghana Black stars, Asamoah Gyan has taken a swipe at the supporters of Legon Cities and other fans across the length and breadth of the country. The talented striker who is fondly remembered for missing that penalty which could have taken Ghana to the next enviable stage in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, is furious at some supporters.

After the match, he fumed;
“The fans were booing me yes but there is only one Asamoah Gyan.
They should even be grateful that am playing in the Ghana Premier League”.
For many fans, Asamoah Gyan has over lived his relevance in the football circles whilst some others feel he has a lot more to offer before he finally “retires”.
