Ghana’s COVID-19 cases skyrockets to 52

Ghana has currently recorded 25 more cases of the COVID-19 disease in addition to the already existing 27, bringing the tally to 52.

As of now, the country’s active cases are 50 with two deaths.

Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu at a News briefing in Accra on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, held at the Information Ministry revealed all the current details. He had this to say:

“The new cases were confirmed from a total of 185 test results received by my outfit and Psychological assistance is currently being provided with the remaining cases under quarantine. Out of the 185 test results that we received, we have 25 of those quarantined testing positive. If you add on to the earlier number of 27, it means we have 52 tested positive cases in our country currently”.
