Glo offers Bolt modems, Galaxy tabs, BB phones for X Factor voters

The prizes include Glo Bolt internet modems, Samsung Galaxy tabs, Blackberry phones and Glo recharge cards.

“Viewers can continue following and voting for their favourite contestants in the show and stand a chance of winning any of the stated prizes. Members of the public can vote for their favourite contestant by sending the contestant’s voting number via SMS to “1739” from Ghana,” and “33680” from Nigeria Globacom said.

The very talented singers left to battle for the $150,000 winner’s cash prize offered by Globacom and a recording contract with Sony Music are 6 solo singers and 2 group performers. The solo singers are Eshum with the voting number “501”, Ankara Boi “502”, Vicky “503”, DJ Switch “504”, Pheel “505” and Princess Pat “506”, while the groups are the DNA Twins “507” and Symphony “508”.

Viewers can watch the Eviction shows on Saturdays on Viasat at 4pm and GHone at 6:30pm. While the performance shows airs every Sunday on Viasat at 8pm and every Monday on GHone at 7pm.

Globacom explained that the contestant with the least vote would be sent home at each eviction show. Meanwhile Nigeria’s group of four the ‘Smoothboiz’ have already exited the show.

“We urge viewers to vote for their favourite contestants. In reality shows like this, it is possible for the best singer to be evicted if he does not receive enough votes to keep him in the competition. Therefore, the only way to ensure that your favourite candidate remains in the show is to keep voting for him,” the company added.
