God has fought my battles – The Most Important Ghanaian (Fomena MP) speaks after election.


Out of the 275 Members of Parliament who contested for the Dec 7 elections, one person has become very popular and important all of a sudden because of the balls he exhibited prior to the polls.

Member of Parliament for Fomena Constituency, Hon. Andrew Assiamah Amoah has spoken after the just ended elections which saw him victorious and been vindicated.

The legislator cum lawyer was sacked from the NPP party that brought him to power two months to elections after he refused to step down for a Parliamentary Candidate of the party to go unopposed because he was treated unfairly during the party’s primaries.


The President and leader of the NPP party on his tour of the Ashanti Region pleaded with Ghanaians to vote massively against independent candidates because he said he “cannot work with them to bring development to constituencies they are representing and for that electorates should vote against NPP candidates contesting the election as Independent candidates”.

Lawyer Andrew Asiamah Asamoah contested the election and won convincingly by garnering 12,805 of the votes cast.

In a post on his social media, the now Independent Candidate (Fomena MP) said: “It is indeed great to wait on the Lord. We thank God for everything”.
