Government Is Aware Of Those Funding The Western Togoland Separatists – Information Minister Reveals

The country experienced some disturbances after a roadblock and other security breaches last Friday when the separatists in and around the Volta Region decided to foment trouble.

The Member of Parliament of Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency who doubles as the Information Minister, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has opined that the government has discovered where the Papavi-led Western Togoland secessionists are getting funds for their unscrupulous activities.

The eloquent legislator said that government is aware of who may be behind the offensive actions.

Mr Oppong Nkrumah was speaking at a press briefing yesterday where he updated the public on the security issues regarding a recent attack by a secessionist group in the Volta Region, among other concerns.
