Gov’t & Ghana Health Service Are Hiding Some COVID-19 Cases From Ghanaians – NDC’s Yayra Koku

Renowned IT mogul and Communication Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on social media, Yayra Koku has used data available to him to arrive at the point that the government and Ghana Health Service are not reporting the real cases of COVID-19 to Ghanaians and the world at large.

He revealed this on his official Facebook timeline.

He wrote:

“When you talk p3, they will come and insult you. Government, together with GHS, are not giving us accurate data when it comes to the total cases of COVID-19.

Volta Regional Coordinating council issued a statement yesterday and said the total confirmed cases as at 1st May 2020 in the Volta Region = 30.

GHS updated their website today 2nd May 2020, and the total number of cases in the Volta region is still 16. Who are they deceiving?

Stay Safe”

To buttress his point, he posted the letter from the Volta Regional Council detailing how the total cases there is 30 whilst the GHS website indicate it’s 16.
