Happy Fm Mass Wedding On Val’s Day
Families and loved ones will have a great reason to celebrate the day of love as the 7th Annual Happy FM Mass Wedding consecrates the union of couples in an all-expense paid ceremony.
On February 14 at the National Theatre, 30 couples will have their marital wish granted as their marriages are blessed. The event will be overseen by Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah, with Rev Dr Arthur Mensah officiating the exchange of vows.
Having undergone rigorous evaluation processes to ensure compatibility and legitimacy as a couple, the 30 men and women will be joined by their family and friends who will witness their loved ones officially become husband and wife.
In addition to the vetting process, thoroughly comprehensive counseling mandates were enforced to ensure each couple understood the implications of their choice, the meaning of their union and what to expect from each other.
The counseling session was also a period where each couple had the uninhibited opportunity to know their partner better through activities and guided communication.
This year’s event promises to be grand and outstanding with a myriad of personalities participating to ensure its success. From the Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ohemaa Mercy and Kwabena Kwabena to Afia Schwarzenegger, Happy FM has not held back on ensuring that the experience is as entertaining as it is unforgettable.
Explaining the excitement behind the ceremony, station manager of Happy FM, Charles Osei- Asibey, said, ‘Valentine’s day was not only about love, it’s about sharing and caring. This is why we wanted to share in the day of these beautiful couples and show them and the Ghanaian community at large that we care. We are so thrilled with the reception and as usual the numbers were staggering but we could only pick 30 couples to ensure that the optimum experience is had.’
The Happy FM Mass wedding is a corporate social responsibility which has facilitated the marriage of more than 150 couples with over 1500 witnesses each year.
