Here’s How Much Ebony Charges For A Collaboration

Ebony is the hottest female musician at the moment and one of the best by far so it’s quite obvious that her ‘asking price’ will be equally high. But we never knew she could demand as high as ₵ 30,000.00 just for a collabo.

Her manager, Bullet made this revelation in the wake of Zigi’s claims that Ebony refused to feature on his song because she demanded ₵ 7,000.00. Recall that Zigi of U Say Wetin fame bemoaned  that the Kupe hit maker failed  to feature on his upcoming album because he couldn’t pay the ₵ 7,000.00 Ebony demanded.

But setting the record straight, Bullet said Ebony does not charge ₵ 7,000.00 but a whopping ₵ 30,000.00. Bullet was of the opinion that Zigi was merely creating controversy using Ebony’s name to get some attention.

He said:

I’ve never seen his call, I have never seen his messages and all that, so what he is talking about, I have no idea about. I don’t know the management he contacted but he never contacted me.

Bullet also added that there was nothing wrong with charging for a feature and if Zigi had really contacted them he would have realized Ebony charges more than the pitiable Ghc 7,000 he mentioned for a feature.

I don’t see [anything] wrong with an artiste charging for [a feature] because in Ghana we don’t even take royalties.

Even Ghc 7000 for Ebony for [a feature], that is even peanuts. Ebony charges between Ghc 30,000 for featuring. So if the person mentioned Ghc 7000, then it means the person wanted to do for free. I am never going to allow Ebony to do a song with him, because what he is trying to do, he just wants to make noise and grab attention.
