High Court Ignores Stay Of Execution Pending Appeal In Hon. Kennedy Agyapong Vs Kweku Baako.

High Court dismisses application for stay of execution on judgment Kweku Baako secured against Mr. kennedy agyapong

The High Court in Accra has dismissed an application for stay of execution pending appeal brought by Mr. Kennedy Agyapong.

Mr. Agyapong asked the High Court to stop Mr. Kweku Baako from demanding from him GH¢100,000 damage and cost of GH¢30,000 as well as retraction and apology to Mr. Baako on all the platforms he used to say lies about him.

By this ruling, the court is insisting that Mr. Agyapong must within 30 days retract and apologise three times on the platforms he used to defame Kwaku Baako.

The legislator is also to go ahead and pay the damage of GH¢100,000 with cost of GH¢30,000.

In addition, the court has also asked him to pay extra GH 3,000 cedis for bringing an unmeritorious application.
