Hon. Abed Bandim Delivers Bunkpurugu Constituency Back For The NDC
The National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary candidate for the Bunkpurugu Constituency, Hon. Abed Bandim has won the seat back from the NPPs’ Hon. Solomon Boar.
In his victory speech on his official Facebook page, he said the incumbent MP has called to congratulate him on his victory. He also pledged to peace and unity in the constituency.
He wrote:
This morning, at exactly 7:37 GMT, my big brother the Hon. Hon. Solomon Boar called to Congratulate me on winning the Bunkpurugu Constituency seat. He expressed faith in me to diligently carry on with the laborious job of representing the good people of the Bunkpurugu constituency in the 8th Parliament of Ghana, God’s willing, come 2021.
As I have always pledged to peace and unity, I seized the opportunity to thank him for being magnanimous in defeat. Indeed, being my big brother, I know I can always reach out to him and to tap from his rich experience and wise counsel. On phone, I told him, “Big bro, I will continue the good works from where you have stopped. Thank you.” As it’s been before us, we shall continue to see ourselves us brothers. For, development is our common interest and
so shall we pursue development in love, peace and unity for the common good of our people.
