Hon. Kennedy Agyapong Urges EC To Go Ahead With New Voters Registration.

The business mogul, media personality (Chief Executive Officer of Net2TV GH and other media avenues) and Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has waded into the recent deliberations as to whether the Jean Mensa led Electoral Commission (EC) should really compile a New Voters Registration for the December 7 General Election or otherwise.

As of now, whilst the ruling political party, New Patriotic Party (NPP) is in support of the idea, the largest opposition party – National Democratic Congress (NDC) is against the move. Over some months now, the EC and the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) have been going back and forth on this same issue.

The outspoken legislator on one of Despite Media’s platform has thrown his fullest support behind the EC to go ahead with the exercise.
