The rap star, Christopher Brian Bridges, made the confession at a press conference organised at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra ahead of his much anticipated first ever performance in Ghana.
Ludacris is among an impressive list of music stars, including Nigerian Naeto C, Sarkodie, 4×4, and Vodafone Icons: Mixed edition winners, Black N Peach, billed to rock this year’s Vodafone’s 020Live Concert scheduled for the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre Saturday night.
Answering a question by Myjoyonline.com on his experience and what he will be taking along with him to the US, the Atlanta rapper said Ghana’s energy and love, which is an integral part of its culture, is overwhelming.
According to the Grammy Award winning artiste, “People can always talk about the food, they can talk about what they saw but I think the most important thing when you leave a country is the culture and the people so I am taking home with me just a great experience of the energy and how much love that I got from the country of Ghana.”
Ludacris, who co-founded Disturbing tha Peace with Chaka Zulu, together with Naeto C, Sarkodie, 4×4, and Black N Peach, who were also at the press conference, promised patrons a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the show.
He said he will “just try to give them [patrons] a good show, give people their money’s worth and make sure that they talk about it for years to come.”
