‘I Am Too Strict To Flirt With My Kid’s Friends, I Am An African Mother’- Iyabo Ojo

Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has revealed the kind of parent she is in her home and how she handles her children at home.

She explains how her kids have come to learn of her parenting style.

The thespian was recently engaged in an interview with Saturday Beats where she disclosed that she is more of the African mother while at home with her kids.

Whenever the mother of two posts pictures on social media, some people say she does not look old enough to have given birth to two young adults. Some even state that some of her children’s friends could ‘have the hots for her.

Reacting to such insinuation, the mother of two stated that her kids know their limit with their conversation and the way they interact with her since she does not give them too much freedom.

She mentioned that even though she plays with her children, she could also be strict at times.

“I am too strict for that. Even if they have such intentions, it would die in their minds. I play with my children but I could also be very strict and they would have probably passed the information to their friends. If they are in the house making a noise and I step inside, they would all go quiet. I am an African mother.”
