“I Like Kwabena Kwabena’s Adult Music”- Randy Abbey

Renowned Broadcaster and Sports Administrator Randy Abbey has made public, his admiration for Highlife singer Kwabena Kwabena’s controversial “Adult Music” song which features Afro-Dancehall star Samini, this morning live on Metro TV.

Randy who was discussing Kwabena’s efforts to raise money to support people with heart diseases at the Cardiothoracic Centre at the Korle Teaching Hospital on his breakfast show “Good Morning Ghana” with his panel went out of his way to state that Kwabena Kwabena’s “Adult Music” smash hit is his personal favorite. “I like his new song Adult Music it is a very nice song”.

The former Ghana Football Association PRO asked his panel, Kwasi Pratt and Nana Akomea if they have heard about the Adult Music but unfortunately both of them seemed not to know and answered in the negative.

Mr. Abbey went ahead to even sing some lines from the chorus but Social commentator and Senior Journalist Kwesi Pratt and NPP’s Communication Director Nana Akumea had no idea what Randy was talking about.

Even though “Adult Music” is a favorite of many Ghanaians, the song perceived as profane has received some criticism from certain suggestive words. The same words Mr. Randy Abbey repeated on his show this morning as he tried singing.

“Adult Music” is a great song by all standards and Randy could not help but acknowledge the creative piece irrespective of what anybody else thinks on his huge platform.

They all commended Kwabena Kwabena’s initiative to support needy heart patients and also used the opportunity to urge other celebrities and public figures to emulate what the silky-voiced singer is doing.
