I look forward to us working together for the mutual benefit of our two countries – John Mahama to Joe Biden

Former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama who is also the presidential candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has congratulated the President-Elect of the United States of America, Joe Biden, and his vice, Kamala Harris.

The comparative records reveal that, since 1992, when the Republicans cling to victory in the American elections, the New Patriotic Party also wins the general election in Ghana. On the other hand, when the Democrats emerge victoriously, the NDC also steals the show here in Ghana. So many of the NDC supporters are confident that since Democrats have won, they are also winning in Ghana.

The former president wrote:

Congratulations #POTUS elect Joe Biden. Your resilience is admirable. It’s taken sheer grit and determination to chalk this victory. I look forward to us working together for the mutual benefit of our two countries and for a better world that ensures social justice and sustainable development.
