A renowned blogger has reiterated that even though she likes money, she is never prepared to be given unnecessary pressure because of a contract from a troublesome client.

She shared her experience in one of her posts.

She wrote;

***I love money o, but I love my sanity more.

Someone contacted me for a job. I charged N360k. We agreed on exactly what I was going to do.

He paid yesterday.

Woke up this morning to text messages changing everything we agreed on and demanding I do it for him.

N360k would do a lot for me o. But I simply asked the person to send me his bank account information for a full refund.

In my quest for money, I won’t let anyone drive me nuts.

This time last year, I wouldn’t have offered to refund because I needed such money. But this year, I can even refund your N500k or a million sef.

I want to get to that stage where even if you pay me N10Million for a job and you start to give me headache, I can ask you to send me you bank details for a full immediate refund.

I don’t want to ever be in a position where someone would be able to control me with money.

I understand that business requires patience. I just don’t understand it losing my sanity to a client.

If someone even makes me a business offer inbox and I think you are full of drama, I won’t respond to the message.

Dear entrepreneurs,
It is very okay to reject some clients.
If you perceive that someone is likely to give you headache, you can refuse to accept their patronage or offers.

Don’t lose your sanity while trying to make money.
