The rap game has always been one of my favourite musical genres. Personally, I love and follow many rappers because it holds a lot of poetry, emotions, creativity, etc. This elaborates why the bragging rights of artistes in such genres are overwhelming. No wonder there is this notion that rappers are intelligent and creative than their counterparts in other genres.
In the past, the battle for the rap boss had centred around three of Ghana’s finest then – Lord Kenya, Obrafour and Reggie Rockstone. Now, there are equally good ones like Edem, Kwaw Kese, Okyeame Kwame, Sarkodie, Manifest, Criss Waddle, Paeday, Yaa Pono, Cabum, Pappy Kojo, FlowkingStone, Joey B, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Rap Fada, EL, Strongman Burner, Teephlow, Amerado Burner, Freda Rhymz, and others.
For the leader of the Poyoorian gangs, AY Poyoo to say that he silenced wack rappers in this country is appalling if he indeed meant every single word of it.
Trust me, I love AY Poyoo because he has shot simple, nice and good low budget videos that have trended for weeks! Another reason why I like him is the fact that he doesn’t feature huge bóobs, assés, pvssies and other sensitive stuff in his music and videos. But for him to say that he has ever silenced any mainstream rapper in Ghana is just a joke.
On that note, if he’s joking, then fine: but, if he’s serious then he might probably be on an expired weed from Kasoa or he’s being overly emotional, depressed and confused than Kwadwo Sheldon and Funny Face!
