I should have been nominated for the Reggae/Dancehall Artist – Samini

Reggae/Dancehall Artiste Samini born Emmanuel Andrews Samini has stated that he deserved a spot in the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year.

According to the “My own” Hit maker , he put in so much work in his music in the year under review and deserved reggae/dancehall artiste of the year nomination.

” Considering the hard work I put in the year under review, I should have been nominated in the Reggae/ Dancehall Artiste of the year category, it’s kind of strange that i am not there” he said.

Samini had four(4) Nominations in the 2018 VGMA( Vodafone Ghana Music Awards) which were; Reggae/Dancehall Song of the year, Record of the year, Best Male Vocal performance and Songwriter of the year.

” I appreciate the fact that I have four nominations, I embrace them and hopefully, we will take something home, ” he added.

Voting of the 2018 VGMA is ongoing and Samini urged his fans to vote for him in the categories he has been nominated in.

Samini has won several awards in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and even won the Artiste of the year in 2007.
