I started acting in 1991 and was paid Gh2 for my first movie – John Dumelo

Talented actor, socialite and Parliamentary Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon (AWW) on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming Dec 7 polls – John Dumelo has revealed his first ever scene he shot.

Speaking to Empress Nana Ama McBrown on UTV’s “United Showbiz” with other colleagues of his like Jackie Appiah, Van Vicker, Majid Michel, Nadia Buari, Yvonne Nelson, Roger Quartey, the talented actor had a lot to share.

According to John Dumelo, his first ever filming was done in 1991 and his payment for that particular role was then 2,000 old cedis which is approximately Gh¢2.00 now.
