I thought she was my wife – A Man after raping his daughter

A 35 – year – old farmer at Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for defiling his 15 -year-old physically challenged step-daughter.

Abubakar Sadiq was arrested three months after the police in Mankranso mounted a serious search for him.

When arraigned before the Tepa Circuit court, Abubakar pleaded guilty. He explained to the court that he had quarrels with his wife. In the, he had strong desire for sex so he entered the dark room and saw the daughter and mistook her for the wife.

According to reports, the daughter has been paralyzed and receiving treatment after the defilement.
