I understand the offside but what of the red card? – Lampard Fumes.
Lampard sprang a surprise in his line up with Willy Caballero maintaining his place in the side ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga, while Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham were not fit enough to start.
United were lucky not to be down to 10 men after 20 minutes when Harry Maguire appeared to kick out at Michy Batshuayi, but the VAR decided not to award a red card.
United then took the lead before half-time through an Anthony Martial header, before Maguire headed a second after half-time.
Chelsea had two goals ruled out by VAR, the first a Kurt Zouma finish denied by a push on Brandon Williams, before Olivier Giroud saw a header ruled out for offside.
Lampard, like other Chelsea fans, is not convinced about the scoreline.
