I was being prophetic and not against – John Mahama denies sponsoring adverts against Free SHS

The ruling New Patriotic Party’s flagship program, the Free Senior High School program has become the big deal and the decider in the 2020 elections.

The opposition arty led by John Mahama said last week that he actually started the program and not the NPP as many Ghanaians believe. This came as a surprise to the NPP and they said the former president supported adverts against the program when they (NPP) were using it as their campaign message.

The former President of Ghana said he was been prophetic because, from all indications, the implementation has been very poor.

“I was been prophetic, the implementation has been very poor and that is what has ended in the double track. That is what has ended up in our Free Senior High School program been the most expensive one in the world, very wasteful”.
