“I Was Discouraged After Bayern’s 4th Goal” – Overrated Lionel Messi Cries Out
Barcelona's centre-forward and one of the world's best players on planet Earth is still finding it difficult to come into terms with the fact that he had the captain's armband on whilst Manuel Neuer's Bayern side trashed Barcelona 8 goals to 2 in the UCL Quarter Finals at Portugal.
Reacting to how he took the humiliating encounter, he posted some deep thoughts on his social media platforms.
Lionel Messi tweeted:
“I have been with a greatest Barcelona team and ruled Europe. And today i must admit i am with a worse Barcelona team. I am not a Barcelona president, but if they didn't learn against Roma, liverpool, am pretty sure they won't learn from today's results. Bayern Munich is fantastic, i love their commitment. They show that football is a shared burden. It's collective Job not individual job. I told myself After they scored number 4 that the was no point of giving it my all because our Defenders are just gonna keep letting us down like they been doing in the past 2 seasons . They just hit our defence like a train. From the start i didn't feel good, the way their forwards just bossed our defence, i knew no matter how many we score they will do the same at other hand. With this performance i will be shocked if they don't go all the way”.
What do you make of this?
