I wasn’t serious on stage during the AsaaseSoundClash with Stonebwoy – Shatta Wale Trolls 1Gad

Dancehall genre lovers were overly thrilled last Saturday when newly established media outlet, Asaase Radio, organized the much awaited clash for the two “Dancehall Kings” in the Ghanaian musical circles. The love, hatred, passion and zeal from all fan bases could be felt in posts, comments, tweets, etc in various social media posts!

Whilst Shatta Wale won the voting system put in place by the Asaase Radio peeps, Stonebwoy and his fans claimed to have won the lyrical battle itself. With exactly 80 hit songs played on the night of the clash (40 per an artiste), both the SM4Lyf boss and BHIM boss entertained their fans amid controversies, subtle jabs, shades and all the other dirty gimmicks.

From all indications, Shatta and Stonebwoy who still have pending police case because of the gun the latter pulled on stage during last year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), seem to be having a low key fracas.

According to Shatta Wale, he was just joking on the night of the clash and didn’t come for business but just to joke.

What do you make of this assertion from Shatta Wale? Is he serious or bluffing?
