Model and fashion designer Deborah Vanessa is probably planning to get married soon, she however seems not to be in a rush as she has stated she “intends to settle down at God’s time.

“I always advise young women out there to not go searching for someone, they should rather focus on yourself, focus on your career, be somebody and then the right person will be attracted to you”, she said.

“So at that time the right person comes, you will be able to evaluate whether he is the right person for you”, she added.

Explaining why she calls herself the “African Mermaid”, Deborah said, she had always loved water and had been swimming in the sea since she was as little as 3-years-old and has developed love for the ocean and “underwater life”.

The “Uncle Obama” singer also stated that, she is indeed passionate about everything she does and takes everything serious so sometimes people wonder why she is “not a musician” but her stuffs make an ‘impact’.

“I don’t know but I personally think, once you are original and you are authentic, it helps you go far”, she said.
