I won’t marry a Rastafarian – Nana Aba Anamoah

TV3 Newscaster and host of Diva’s Show, Nana Aba Anamoah has revealed that she will not marry a Rastafarian because of her “stupid perception” that every Rastafarian smokes “weed”.

The bubbly host made this statement when she appeared on the Hang Out segment on the Cruise Control show with Kwame B.

According to Nana Aba, although she has an unfavourable perception about Rastafarians, she loves the mentality of anybody who believes in Rastafarianism even if she cannot stomach them.

She explained that she respects Rastafarians but added it would be difficult for her to spend much time or a whole day with them because she is scared that some of their dreadlocks might enter her mouth.

Nana Aba, however, commended their positive mindedness and the fact that they always speak their mind citing Blakk Rasta who she says is always on point and on top of issues.

She stated that being a Rastaman does not make a person different but believes she needs to be sensitized to do away with the “stupid perception”.

Asked what she would have done if she had been a man, Nana Aba disclosed that she would have ceased every opportunity to advise all his fellow men not to hit a woman, no matter how much they are provoked.
