IGP Inspects Savannah Police Operational Readiness.



The Inspector-General of Police, Mr James Oppong Boanuh has paid a visit to the Savannah Region to inspect the operational readiness of the Regional Police Command towards security of the impending general elections and other police operations.

He also had candid interaction with police officers in the region about almost every matter that bothers on policing. The officers, in high morale raised concerns about conduct; logistics; bribery and corruption; ID cards; uniforms and outlook; promotions; transfers; in-service training; accomodation among others.

The Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr Enoch Adutwum Bediako assured IGP of the regional command’s readiness to execute the police mandate. He also appealed for additional manpower and logistical supports.

IGP praised the officers for their hard work and urged them to be professional at all times.
