IGP Tours Western North Region Ahead Of Dec 7 Polls.

Ghanaians are preparing to either choose the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the pending Parliamentary and Presidential Elections to be held on 7 December 2020.

The electioneering year has created a very competitive environ for both party communicators as they move from one station to another defending the manifestos of their respective parties. In all these, the peace and tranquility of the citizenry has become a paramount issue for the security agencies.

In view of this upcoming elections, the Inspector-General of Police Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh has begun a Regional tour from the Upper part of the country and is currently in the Western North Region to assess Police operational readiness towards the 2020 general elections.
