I’ll Do 40% Industrialization If I Become President – Hon. Ken Agyapong

The Assin Central Member of Parliament, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has settled on his future within the political landscape. The business magnate cum New Patriotic Party (NPP) bigwig was speaking to Justice Kwaku Annan on Net2TV GH’s “The Seat” when he unveiled that he would embark on various industrialization policies if he’s voted into office as the President of the land.

According to the MP, Ghana’s economic fortunes can only be likened to that of the developed countries like China, USA, Germany and others if industrialization is prioritized.

The vociferous legislator has over the years won the hearts of many Ghanaians as he is able to criticise both his party and the main opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC). As a result of his firm stance in national discourse and his regular chant of the ‘Ghana First’ mantra, most youths look up to him.

The conflicting issue here is that this same MP has revealed in many interviews about how he has no intentions of being a Presidential candidate and not to talk of a President.

So, this new assertion on National Television is something different altogether.
