Is A Plus’ “TPP” The Remedy As A Formidable Third Force Against The NPP/NDC Dominance?

For now, it is an open secret that some Ghanaians are just tired of the two main political parties’ tantrums they keep throwing about. In fact, both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) do not sound as normal choices for many citizens because they see them as one in how they govern the country when the mantle falls into their hands.

As a result of this, many ‘confused’ citizens are chasing other avenues as their refuge towards the NPP/NDC dominance. It isn’t anything surprising to see the likes of SofoKyiri Abosom’s Ghana Union Movement (GUM) and Akua Donkor’s Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) as options to some people away from the usual NPP and NDC.

Of late, there is another movement that is steadily gaining grounds because of the convener’s brand, influence and impact. This has to do with Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng aka Kwame A Plus’ The People’s Project (TPP).

From their official website, this is what TPP has to proffer about themselves:

“THE PEOPLE’S PROJECT #TPP

The People’s Project basically is a formidable, Non-partisan and Non-violent Ghanaian third force cum social movement established to demand for social goals and constitutional reforms that serves the best interest of the good people of Ghana. Founded in recent times and led by Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng a.k.a A PLUS, the movement has gotten approval from many Ghanaian citizens home and abroad with over five hundred and thirty-five (535) branches across the globe and an estimated membership of over 700,000.

The unique factor about TPP is that, we do not only criticize government but also lend a helping hand in solving some of the numerous Ghanaian problems. As a commitment to the good people of Ghana, we build free modern boreholes with purification systems to provide good drinking water to communities across the country, we give startup capitals to as many youth as possible, we have coverings for persons with disabilities among many other social interventions. We are currently building our own mobile application to migrate our membership to ease up communication and also help in formal registration”.

From TPP’s ideology, are they going to metamorphose into a political party as the third strong force to battle it out with NPP and NDC?

What do you think of this?
