Is Prof. Jane Competent To Be Prez. If Mahama Dies As President? – Majority Leader

The selection of the Former Minister For Education, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as the National Democratic Congress’ running mate to pair John Dramani Mahama has become the most spoken of issue for this week.

Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang who served as the Education Minister from 2013-2017 is to face NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2020 General Election.

Reacting to this in a video posted by TV3 Network, Majority Leader cum Minister in charge of Parliamentary Affairs, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has hypothetically questioned whether Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang “is capable of being described as the President of the republic” should Ex-President, John Dramani Mahama pass away on becoming president.
