J.J Rawlings closes his office over Coronavirus fears
The office of the former President, Flt. Lt Jerry John Rawlings, has been closed to the public until further notice due to the scary effects of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
Mr. Kobina Andoh Amoakwa, the Communications Directorate of the former Prez in a press statement said the closure is to protect staff and visitors from contracting the deadly virus.
“Isolation is key to protecting ourselves from the COVID-19 virus and it is in support of measures taken by the government to mitigate the spread of the virus,” the statement read.
Former President Rawlings further urged Ghanaians to observe the precautionary measures put in place by the government and the Ghana Health Service to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus.
