Jean Mensa Has Done Marvelously Well – Akufo Addo Applauds EC

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has lauded the efforts of the Electoral Commissioner and her two deputies in the just ended compilation of the New Voters’ register for the December 7 election.

The President acknowledged Madam Jean Mensa during the 15th National Address on measures taken to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic. According to the President, he’s quite impressed with how diligent the EC and her deputies conducted the exercise amidst the Novel Coronavirus and huge criticisms.

The Electoral Commission used 6 weeks to compile New Voters’ register across all the 16 regions in the country. The main opposition party National Democratic Congress and other stakeholders held divergent view from what the EC pursued.
