John Mahama Has Nothing For Ghana – Nana Akomea Claims

An astute member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akomea says former President John Mahama and the NDC have nothing better to offer Ghanaians.

According to Nana Akomea, the main opposition National Democratic Congress’ Presidential Candidate is the worse leader in the 4th Republic.

Explaining his stance on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, the NPP stalwart said Mr John Mahama’s government retrogressed Ghana’s development instead of setting it on the part of progression.

“Which President in the Fourth Republic has lost an election by 10 percentage points if not Mahama? Former Presidents Rawlings and Kufuor lost their elections by less than two percent. Losing one million votes shows he [Mahama] is the worse in the 4th Republic,” Nana Akomea said.

In the history of the Fourth Republic, Ghana has had five (5) presidents in a period of 28 years so far. The first President was Jerry John Rawlings (1992 – 2000), followed by John Agyekum Kuffuor (2000 – 2008), then the late John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills (2008 – 2012), followed by John Dramani Mahama (2012 – 2016) and now, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo (2016 till date).
