Joselyn Dumas signs deal with Restless Talent

Ghanaian actress Joselyn Dumas has signed a deal with global agency Restless Talent, which will take on management of her film and TV career.

The multiple award-winning actress started her career in 2008-2009 with roles in Sparrow Productions’ A PERFECT PICTURE and A STING IN A TALE, and on television as host of Viasat 1’s THE ONE SHOW which she anchored for four years.

Joselyn Dumas became a household name in 2011 thanks to her performance as Jennifer Adams in Sparrow’s ten chapter movie series ADAM’S APPLE.

She has since appeared in a starring role in Leila Djansi’s movie A NORTHERN AFFAIR, for which she won Best Supporting Actress at the 2013 Ghana Movie Awards and was nominated alongside some of Africa’s best actresses in the Best Actress category at the 2014 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), as well as in TV series such as LEKKI WIVES (Season 2 and 3).

Joselyn’s latest movie, LOVE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, also starring Africa’s finest actors, John Dumelo of Ghana and O.C Ukeje of Nigeria, was recently released in theaters and earned her a Best Actress Award at the 2014 Ghana Movie Awards and a Best Actress in a Drama nomination at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

Joselyn’s witty humor and personality also define Africa’s fresh spin on the talk show format with @ HOME WITH JOSELYN DUMAS, which broadcasts across 10 million homes in the UK and 46 countries in Africa on DSTV’s Africa Magic. @ HOME WITH JOSELYN DUMAS is filmed across Europe and Africa, where Joselyn talks to various VIP guests as they share their passion and successes all from the comfort of her fabulous homes.
