Just in: NDC drops one case against EC

The National Democratic Congress has dropped the case questioning the Constitutionality of the Electoral Commission to compile a New Voter’s register.

The party filed a suit challenging EC’s mandate to compile a new voter’s register and secondly EC’s decision to exclude the old voter’s register as a document for identification.

However, at Thursday morning’s hearing, lawyer for the NDC, Mr Godwin Kodzo Tameklo, abandoned the first leg which had to do with the constitutionality of the EC’s decision to conduct that exercise, reports reaching Ghanashowbiz.com indicate.
