The Supreme Court has adjourned a case brought by the Attorney General against the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo over some leaked tape indefinitely.
A secretly recorded tape of NDC’s communications team meeting was leaked last in which the National Chairman was heard allegedly plotting to kidnap people and also attack the electoral commission chairperson, Mrs. Jean Mensah.
The court presided over by Justice Jones Dotse has adjourned the case indefinitely.
“We are just informed that there are some incidents, the applicants have not been served with the hearing notice hence their absence. As the applicants have not been served, the case has been adjourned sine die,” Justice Dotse said.
