KƐ Ha Mi- Latest release by Raquel

Her latest single, KƐ Ha Mi which was released online last week is also a love song which encourages women to “boldly ask their partners to give them happiness in relationships”.

For the young songstress who says her sour past love relationships have influenced her compositions, it is about time women “demanded” that which make them happy in relationships.

The fast tempo song is rendered in both Ga and English languages. Raquel is known for her strong vocals in most of her songs but on KƐ Ha Mi, that quality was missing.

On the song, Raquel sings about her partner who cheats on her often but comes running back into her arms because she understands him better than any other lady.

She therefore entreats the guy to make her happy since that is what she has been wishing for all her life.

Raquel is known for some good songs like Sweetio, I Won’t Cry but KƐ Ha Mi cannot be termed as one of her best releases in recent times, one that she defended when she was asked.

“I need to be versatile in my songs. I can’t always do the same thing. The song just got released and people are yet to accept this style but I don’t think I did a bad job on that at all. I will do my review from the feedback I get from fans soon,” she told Showbiz on Monday.

After her smash hit single, Sweetio, made waves in 2011, Raquel has worked her way up the music ladder and she seems poised to make great strides in her chosen field.

She held the Black, Bold and Beautiful and Rapid Cupid shows earlier this year at the Bella Roma Night Club in Osu and +233 Jazz Pub respectively.

She hinted at a line-up of shows prior to the release of her new album this year.

“I don’t want to give my fans anything that is short of the best so they should expect good stuff from me by the end of the year,” she added.
