KK Fosu, Okyeame Kwame for ‘Best of Lifes’ concert
After successfully organising Tema Invasion, a concert that brought together Tema-based musicians on one stage last year, event company, Quallos Production, is set to give highlife lovers a treat with a concert dubbed, Best of Lifes.
Slated for Friday, April 3, at the Hotel Majorie in Tema, the 6p.m. show is expected to draw artistes such as Okyeame Kwame, K.K Fosu and Ephraim. They will be backed by the Shabo Crew Band.
He has not been active on the music scene for some time now but highlife artiste, KK Fosu, has promised his fans a great show on the night. He told the Daily Graphic in an interview that the concert is just the right platform to “reconnect with his fans after missing in action for a long time”.
He said that patrons will get the opportunity to enjoy a live performance of his new song, P’ani de P’ani remarking, “This is the time to prove my worth as a good musician. Those who doubt my music capabilities can make a date with me on Good Friday,” he stated.
According to the C.E.O of Quallos Productions, Evans Eluerkeh, the aim for organising the show is to bring quality entertainment to the doorstep of residents of Tema.
He said the high patronage and positive feedback from the Tema Invasion show organised last year is what urged his outfit to put together the Best of Lifes concert.
“Tema is a big city now and without doubt, needs its own events than its residents always trooping to Accra for events. This is what Quallos Productions hopes to achieve, to bring quality entertainment to Tema,” he said.
