KKD holds thanksgiving service after rape trial

imagesAce broadcaster, Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (KKD) will be holding a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 3rd May, 2015 to thank God for seeing him through the alleged rape charge preferred against him.

The event which would be held at The Christ Foundation Family Church in Sukumono near the Golf Course is expected to be attended by family and friends of the broadcaster.

In the latter part of December 2014, KKD was arrested by the Airport Police in Accra following a complain of nineteen year old, Ewuraeffe Orleans that the broadcaster raped her at the African Regent Hotel.

KKD was acquitted by a High Court in Accra after the State entered a Nolle Prosequoi.

The broadcaster has since his release expressed thanks to friends and loved ones for their support and has thus decided to proceed to church to thank God as well.

International Tele Evangelist, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh and Cardinal Leslie Tex Buabasah would be preaching at the 3rd May service.
