Popular Ghanaian comedian DKB was interviewed on Ampluzz when a panel member; Sally Frimpong made allegations that KSM has not helped comedians in Ghana. He replied that “you don’t expect the king to come to you, if you need the king you go to him, KSM has been of great help to me. He received me when I approached him, he gave me a chance and I delivered”
KSM was interviewed to explain his letter to the youth of Ghana “change the memo” He explained that our leaders have made us to think and a particular way but it’s time we turn things around and dare to be different. This he puts in his letter that we must change from the passenger mentality to the Drivers mentality. He also described the system we exist in to be full of mediocrity.
Sally Man A panel member on the show questioned the role KSM has played to be in the position to make such remarks. Sally believes that he hasn’t done anything for Ghanaian youths to be in the position to criticize, she elaborated that he hasn’t been of any help to uprising comedians in Ghana. That David Oscar and some other comedians have made this statement clear.
DKB a comedian who has made a mark in Ghanaian comedian for the last year was contacted to comment on this situation,. He confirmed that KSM has been a big help to him in his career as a comedian.
