Celebrated Ghanain rapper, the venerable Michael Owusu Addo known in showbiz industry as Sarkodie has doffed his hat for the 2020 VGMA Artist of the year, Rockstar Kuami Eugene.

The two teamed up to release a latest hit song (HAPPY DAY) which generated controversy because a subtle campaign endorsement of President Akufo Addo by Sarkodie.

Kuami Eugene said he didn’t know Sarkodie had endorsed the president in the music,and went further to distance himself from any such political endorsement.

Sarkodie showed up on stage to perform the controversial banger with Kuami Eugene. He has described the artist as  superstar.
