Unlike the western countries, countries in Africa struggle to manage businesses to the fullest gain of the benefactors. In Ghana for instance, businesses are faced with challenging situations such as financial, manpower and others.
Authorities of the Kumasi Shoe Factory are considering a possible closure of the factory over the refusal of some state agencies, especially the Ghana Armed Force, to patronise its boots and shoes.
It could be recalled that in November 2017, the management of the factory came out to express their disappointments over the refusal of the state security agencies to prioritize their products over foreign ones.
Since then, their situation has still not changed and they’re currently considering the possibility of going off the market.
