Kwan Pa releases new song If you’ve been seeing and enjoying a local rendition of popular Christmas carols and songs with a Ghanaian traditional twist on social media then the name is Kwan Pa. The indigenous palm wine music band has taken up the music scene especially this Christmas season. They have won three major awards for the best traditional band in 2019 since their inception.

Kwan Pa has released their newest EP titled Bronya Christmas which is a twist of traditional songs that enrich the feeling of real authentic Ghanaian Christmas music.

They have created a new trend and made it their own genre which is a blend of Ghanain and western elements infused into music.

Their first is ‘Felix Cannot Dance’, which was directed by Wahala Entertainment. The song also featured the winners of ‘Di Asa’ and superstar bloggers Emmanuel Appiah and Samuel Appiah who also shot the video while acting as Felix.

The song is a completely different local rendition of the famous Christmas carol ‘Feliz Navida’.

Wahala Entertainment has signed Kwan Pa recently and they are busily working on their latest album ‘Music from Africa’.
