Ludacris and Sarkodie Set To Thrill Fans On Vodafone 020 Live

Despite fans’ expectations that the meeting of Sarkodie and Ludacris at the forthcoming Vodafone 020 Live! concert could be a clash of rap Titans, Sarkodie sees the show as just another opportunity for him to thrill his fans.

Speaking to event organisers from the US last week, the Ghana Artiste of the Year, said that he did not consider the show as a contest. “Lets just go there and have some fun,” he said.

Sarkodie said he himself was excited about the show just as much as his fans and he was looking forward to performing with Vodafone Ghana Music Awards winners 4×4 and his friend Naeto C.

The third Vodafone 020 Live Concert is scheduled for the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday September 29. Also on the bill will be Vodafone Icons Black N Peach, the group which was unearthed by a country-wide talent search earlier in this year.

According to Vodafone, 020 Live! gets bigger this year with a huge bash in Kumasi by some of the artistes and more the weekend before the main concert in Accra.

The tree concert billed to come off at KNUST campus on Saturday September 22 is expected to feature 4×4, Atumpan, Bradez, R2Bees and Black N’ Peach.

Sarkodie and 4×4 will work with multi-talented music producer, programmer and instrumentalist, Kwame Yeboah to produce their performance which will see them performing to a live band.
