Mallams & Fetish Priests Banned From TV Forever

Effective from Friday 1st May 2020, the National Media Commission has issued a ban on mallams and fetish priests from advertising their products, services, or environs on TV. They are not to broadcast or advertise their work on any television in Ghana anymore.

According to the Information Minister, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the office of the president has written a letter to the appropriate authorities to issue this ban.

Social media users have taken time to congratulate this bold move from the Presidency. Ghanaians have over the years complained about the incessant displays of these mallams and fetish priests all over the place.
