Meet 19-Year-Old Talented Gospel Musician Princess Obaapa Osei

Young but talented gospel musician Princess Obaapa Osei might be going rough time with her debut album Follow Jesus but she is still determined to complete her mission as a musician.

Five years ago, she released her Follow Jesus album did not did not do well because she did not have money to push it and also someone to manage her.

Now Obaapa Osei is back again with Follow Jesus hoping to make an impact this time around. The eight- track album from the young musician has songs like Eye Mi Dea, Omuyayomi, Obe Ye, Emarama, Wagye Mi Nkwa and Kyere Wu Tumi.

All song was recorded by Big Papa in Dansoman, Accra. On Fellow Jesus a praise song, Obaapa Osei is asking everyone to fellow Jesus in any circumstances one finds the self adding that Jesus is the only person can be relied on.

Obaapa explains her frustrations the day she decided to worship God on Complete In Me, a worship song also on the album. She thanks God for not making her enemies laugh at her but lifted her among her peers on the same track.

Obaapa sings Reggae and Yoruba on her album. The 20- year old musician told Showbiz she is now ready to give her all in all as a gospel musician.

‘ I believe I am now ready after almost five years struggling to come out with this album. Things have not been that easy with me but with the help of the lord and some few people I am ready for the market’ Obaapa said.

Her debut album will be re-launched at her church, Women’s Chapel International at North Industry Area pretty soon. According to Obaapa, she has written a lot of songs down but has no producer yet to push.

‘Any producer who wants to help me would not regret, I am not bragging but my songs are good but getting a producer to push me is a big problem to me now’ Obaapa appealed.

Obaapa said she has been singing since her childhood but gospel musicians Christian Love now Obaapa Christy, Ohemaa Mercy and Daughters have always been her role models.
