Meet The Prisoner Who Cursed A Judge For Sentencing Him Wrongly, Surprisingly The Curse Worked Through Anas’ Exposé

According to a story on the official social media handles on Crime Check Foundation, a young man has revealed how he believes his curse in a court manifested because of his innocence.

Background to the story:

After strongly protesting his innocence in court, Sumaila could not believe it when he was sentenced to five years in prison in hard labour. He then cursed the judge and was given two years additional sentence.

In cursing the judge, Sumaila reportedly said the judge will be sacked one day.

Strangely, the said judge got sacked in the Anas exposé dubbed “Ghana Judiciary Scandal”.

In 2015, Anas conducted a two-year an undercover investigation of the judiciary in Ghana and brought out audio and video evidence of corruption taking place. Following the exposé, 22 circuit court judges and magistrates were suspended and 12 High Court judges were also under investigations.

One observation on the lips of social media users is that, even though Sumaila was wrong in insulting and/or cursing the judge, but, was it necessary for the judge to have added two more years to Sumaila’s sentence?

Will you call it a coincidence that the said judge was sacked after Anas’ exposé or a reflection of Sumaila’s curse?
