Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture to receive GH¢43.9million

Parliament has approved GH¢43,948,409 budget estimate for Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture for 2017 budget year. Madam Catherine Afeku, the sector minister is to ensure key programs and activities are implemented to boost the industry for revenue generation where the ultimate goal is job creation.

Mrs. Afeku noted that government’s objective is to transform the country into a major Meeting, Incentive Conference and Exhibition Center (MICE) by aggressively developing the tourist sites.
